Chennai Super Kings Won by 7 Wickets | CSK Vs SRH Match 29 IPL 2023
Despite their best efforts, the Sunrisers Hyderabad couldn’t break through the impenetrable defense of the Chennai Super Kings, leading to another decisive victory for CSK. The Sunrisers batted first but only managed to put 134 runs on the board, largely due to the incredible performance of bowler Ravindra Jadeja, who dominated from the very first ball. MS Dhoni also made a strategic move by bowling his fours over in a row, which turned out to be a game-changing move for CSK. Jadeja finished with a remarkable 3 wickets for 22 runs in his four overs.
CSK’s opening batsmen, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway, came out with guns blazing and quickly took control of the game with an impressive 87-run partnership. Although bowler Markande put up a good fight, Conway’s skillful cricketing shots kept the scoreboard ticking and ultimately led CSK to victory with 8 balls to spare.

Aiden Markram, Skipper: “Disappointed again, it’s never nice to lose. We were not good with the bat and couldn’t build partnerships and then you struggle to put in a good total. We certainly thought this wasn’t a 130 wicket, it was more around a 160 track. Partnerships weren’t there, we couldn’t build momentum and credit to them for the way they bowled.”
MSD, Skipper: “Whatever is said and done, the last phase of my career, important to enjoy it. It feels good to be here. They have given a lot of love and affection.
